Thomas Herz

I began my insurance career in 1987 as an agent with one of the oldest and most respected mutual life insurance companies in the United States. I later became an independent agent and worked extensively as a benefits specialist with Federal employees where I enabled many of them to save 35-75% in out-of-pocket costs through use of alternative plans for their supplemental coverage needs.

I have over 20 years experience in insurance, benefits and financial services. I have paralegal certification in estate planning in addition to over 8 years as a benefits analyst at the Office of the President at the University of California.
I work with individuals, small business owners, professionals as well as government employees.

Asset and income protection through the judicious use of insurance is the primary focus of my practice.  A key part of this is to educate consumers on the benefits, potential risks and need for long term care protection so that they can make an informed decision regarding this growing problem.  It is often the most vulnerable part of peoples' financial plans.
